After 4 km of swimming, a 120 km bike ride and a 30 km run, Torbjørn Sindballe runs the finishing stretch in a rain of gold to become the european triathlon champion.

Well I'd rather have had your subject (nice picture BTW), but this guy was at a Chicago miniatures painting contest. His eyes weren't hardly visible until I looked at the result!

The D30 was the camera I really wanted ... but I didn't have $3,500 plus lenses, so I shot with a compromised Oly for a long time. I learned a lot, and got some good images out of it. They don't print that large that well, but it was fun... Couple years down the line, I have a D60 and some nice glass.

We all have fantastic equiptment, and it looks like we're still using it to make great pictures. I'm glad everyone can take a minute to relax, think about how far things have come that we get twice the camera for half the price, and that more of us can afford to have one now. Which means more great pictures here, more ideas on how to make pictures, new PS techniques, ...

So thanks for sharing your stuff!

I love clouds...I've often wished I could do a coffee table book of just clouds. Really nice images.

at least from my 10D - only had it two weeks!

This is nothing spectacular, but I like the colors, the expression, and the look of the window screen.

In case anybody else could use a break from whether Best Buy is
the devil, the merits of copyright infringement vs sueing AIDS
patients, and front-focusing / back-talking SLR lenses ... maybe we
can all take a break and share our favorite pic we've shot in the
past week or two??
