Several Questions about Flashes (Nissin vs Godox)

I'm getting the Godox and wireless transmitter.

makes no sense to pay 3x as much for nissin which we don't know how well will work., even if Godox is a regular size flash. I'll get used to it. Everyone says Godox. Brian Smith, Lavika Photography, and others. TTL and HSS and an affordable wireless system for 100/flash. Just makes sense.

will place my order tmrw.

DONE. Purchased the Godox TT685s and a Wireless X1T-s transmitter from Amazon.

I don't care about the Nissin anymore. Maybe if I want a really small speedlight I'll pick up the Nissin i40 for cheap. For now though Godox seems like THE flash to get.

Congrats! Show us some photos when you get to use it. That is probably the system I will get myself too!

I think you'll be pleased. I'm hoping replacement and extras will be arriving sometime this week. The order shipped from China on the 19th.

OK, so I just discovered something really cool about the X1T transmitter. It has a pass through shoe on top, so just for grins, I popped my Yongnuo 560-TX on top and found out that it will sync the Yongnuo flashes at 1/4000 sec shutter speeds with my A6000. It's only manual, no TTL, but whats cool is I have complete control over the settings on my 560 III and IV flashes from the 560-TX. So I can do all my setup at the camera! :-D

Hi

From what I read (having 2 YN 560m4) this X1T can control YN flash in HSS mode, but only on the camera? Is it possible to control it (by using multiple X1Ts) off the body?

You have to have the X1Ts on the camera hot shoe, and then slip the 560-TX on top of the X1tS in it's pass through hot shoe. After playing around with it a little more I realized that the Yongnuo's have to be at full power to achieve HSS. If not at full power they won't add any real light to the shot when the TT685's fire
