spider macro with c750

The spider is very good but the most impressive is the mosquito
photo on the link. Very good focusing. You can see the "hair" on
the mosquito's feet. Very impressive. It was manual focus or just a
simple AF with good light ?
It was sucking and enjoying my blood from my left hand while I tried to focus with my right hand LOL.

The shot was taken with manual focus locked at infinity with 2 Nikon 4T close up filters at 10x zoom.

Thanks

Super, the colours, the exposure everything is right on and that is one ugly guy. Your gallery is excellent.

Nice going.

All were taken in Singapore. The spider is one of the first I have seen here also. :)

I can see how much difference in quality there is using that close-up lens/flash combination. More money to spend!

Great shots keep 'em comin'

Hi Guan!! your pictures are beautiful. I was searching about the close up filter you used, and excuse me about my question (I´m new), BH says its to be used only in a focal length of 80/200. So it would mean its not possible (or its not good) to be used in, for example, 300mm, but you took this pictures in 10 X. So, where is my mistake?
And do you need an adapter?
Thank you

That is the recommended focal length and it is still possible and shown to yield acceptable macro at 380mm.

U could always zoom to 200 mm with C750 if u prefer to be within the recommended focal lenght.

As for adaptor, I am using Olympus 45.6 to 52mm.

Great macros ........and wonderful website.
So...lookin' forward to fireworks shooting at tomorrow's National
day celebrations?

Cheers,

Its the same stuff every year... so not really keen on that. Maybe I could try taking some macro shots of sparkle instead.
