Hi folks,

I saw this from Old Skeeter on youtube using a cheap LED light from IKEA.

De-Yellowing the Pentax Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 - It takes only 48 hours

This is some images from someone that followed Old Skeeter's instructions

Thanks Ron, that is the same method i use, i should probably get a better mirror and i use a reversed UV filter to help reflect the UV light better... I've left some lenses under for weeks but thats before i refined the process

Hi Mike,

If I ever get to the big city again, I might just buy me one of those lamps. It is much better than leaving my lens outside for a week or more.

They do........................................things down..................................................there ..............................................in that.......................sand..........country............ kind of....................relaxed .... I ...........reckon. Maybe someone could post an abridged version? Assuming it ends well?

I put the old tak under the lamp for one week obtaining a good result.

The advance of this kind of solution is the low temperature of led lamp.
