I have been using an old shoulder bag that is small enough to just barely store the combination of A7sII and 24-240. I'm in the market for a new shoulder bag, and looking for something that is somewhat bigger to hold 1 more lens. It should be able to carry A7sII, 24-70GM and Mitakon 50mm. Thanks a lot in advance!

Check out the Ona Brixton. That's what I use... Great for a body with a lens attached and a couple of added lenses. Deep enough for my old 5DIII and 24-70 f/2.8 so will also work fine with a7 and GM zoom.

I just did Bermuda with my Peak Design Everyday Messenger. A7, Batis 25, Batis 85, 55 1.8, and C/Y Zeiss 135 2.8. I love this bag.

Edit: Also had my Sirui t-025x tripod attached through the tripod sleeve on the flap.

I'd say Tenba Cooper. The Cooper 13 slim will probably fit your setup, but the Cooper 13 DSLR is a little roomier for those big lenses. I've chosen the DSLR because I like to take two to three small lenses (28-70 zoom, 35 f2.8 zeiss and 50 f1.8) and my flash or Gorillapod, and I like to store eveything inside the bag.

There must be dozens that fit the bill. IMO, Billingham are amongst the best, expensive but last a lifetime. The there is Think Tank, Lowepro, Domke, Tenba, etc, etc, etc.

I also just up sized my bag,.

I'm coming from a Thule Perspectiv Compact sling which is a great compact bag that can hold up two cameras like an A7 (with a smallish lens like the 55) and an A6000 at a time. I use mine as an EDC (everyday carry), so it needs to carry random things in addition to the camera/cameras and lenses so have mine carrying an A7RII with 35/1.4 with a 24-240, as well as a few other random things. I added a Tenba shoulder pad to it and it has been serving me very well for some time. It can also be worn around the waist, though I used it primarily slung across my shoulder. Even though I decided to get something a bit bigger (to accommodate larger lenses if needed, and enjoy the additional flexibility the added volume would afford) I'll continue to use the Perspectiv when I need something compact.

I just received my Peak Design Every Day Messenger bag and I have to say it has exceeded my expectations. I was pretty iffy about ordering one of these as they seem kind of expensive and wondered about the hype (most reviewers really like this bag) versus reality of this bag.

The material and build quality is often praised by reviewers and it seems like well deserved praise. All of the materials just feel very durable and of a high quality, and they are put together very well. It definitely feels like a high end product.

The various innovations (like the re-shape-able dividers, Capture integration, adjustable latch, streamlined quick adjust strap, etc) seem genuinely useful (I was concerned that they would be over designed gimmicks), and I appreciate that they are quite functional.

I haven't fully figured out how I want to configure the interior, but it has been a fun exercise to rapidly go through a few different configurations simply by flipping and folding the dividers in various ways (without having to undo and re-seat Velcro every time).

I've currently got it packed with everything I used to have in the Perspectiv + a NEX-5R, with room to spare. A big challenge for me will be to resist the temptation to overload the bag, as it can expand to hold more than is probably healthy for one's back when slung on a single shoulder.

If I had to criticize the Everyday Messenger, it would have to be regarding pockets. I kind of wish there were more of them or that the two side pockets it comes with were more useful. As it is I will probably end up only using them to store random unimportant things or trash.

I like my Brixton, but if I were only carrying one body, and two lenses I'd be more inclined to pick up something like the Prince Street.

That said I'm selling my smoke grey ona brixton for a pretty affordable price ;)

Absolutely. The bags are great except for those side pockets. They are very well made, have several well thought out and smart solutions and a nice and discreet look. But the two side pockets are unfortunately pretty much useless. I have the 15" version and debating if I should get the 13" version too for those moments when you want to bring the minimum on a long day.

I just bought a Cullmann Madrid Maxima 330 soft grey, which holds the camera with sizeable lens and 2 separate lenses. Not too conspicuous, not too expensive. Has room for a 10" tablet too.

I fell in love with the Tenba DNA line after getting the 15 and 11 so that gets my vote.

I am thinking of getting the thinktank retrospective 7.

That will fit a dslr with 24-70f2.8 and a 70-200m f2.8 and a flash. So it should fit what you need and have flexibility without being huge.

It is definitely on my radar, classic style and functionality.

I think a Domke F-5XB would probably work. If you want more of a larger messenger style there's also the Domke Camera Satchel.

These bags are built to last and look great (and yet they look nothing like camera bags, which can be handy in public places).

Beaverhelmet,

Thinking of getting a 13". How do you like your 15" bag? Do you think it's too big for a Sony 7rii with a prime lens, batteries, a travel tripod, and some personal items like iPad, sunglasses, a light compressible down jacket?

I just went through this decision process and ended up going with something from Think Tank. I got the Think Tank Retrospective 7 which works perfectly for my Sony a7ii with the 16-35mm f4 attached and a sizable Rokinon 14mm 2.8. I still have room for my iPad and another lens as well, yet it's compact, has an excellent shoulder strap (very comfortable and adjustable). The canvas is strong yet tough. I'm loving my new bag.

Good luck!

Similar to the popular Retrospective series but the material is lighter and I can squeeze in my A7ii, Batis 85mm, 24-240, 55mm, 35mm and flash without a problem.

Just bought it the other day so haven't been testing it that much - reviews say its comfy though.
