Carry on all...who will win the race to post the first pic?

Great series. The snake and 2nd to last bird shot are my favorite. Looks like that lens is working for you.

We have had nesting phoebes under our second story deck for the past 10 years. I haven't noticed any young yet but we are a little further north than you are. We also have cardinals and red bellied woodpeckers but I haven't seen a bluebird on our property in a very long time, maybe 15 years.

A nice set with a nice lens.

Very good work. To me, your use of selective focus suggests a contrast between the present and the fading past.

You captured the sleekness of this vessel perfectly.

Yes, I've eaten them myself in Spain and at home. Didn't see any on the menus in local tavernas though. They need some interesting cooking as they can be a bit dry, as can game birds.

#4 is a great portrait (As is the first!) - captures character so well. Much more interesting than a straight 'here is a bird' shot, however good.

All good, but I especially like the color contrast in the last one.
