That's a very fitting description indeed. ;-)... of whatever ya want to call it!
Thanks for looking!

I think a revolving K-1 on a belt would make for some very cool effects! Beard, hat and sunglasses being optional... but where's the fun in not being too out-there? ;-)LOL! Thanks for the link. Just watched it ... Will think about my future special "K-1 outfit" for sure!Very cool Phil!
I get a picture in my mind of a special ZZ top device where instead of spinning a guitar, the K-1 does easy 360's - But be sure to first get yourself a very long pointy beard, zz-hat and dark glasses to go with the outfit. Have fun and be incognito... no one will notice you!

That is what I meant. I don't own a geared head because of the sensor composition feature found in the K-5. The exact positioning with just a ball head is something I use. Your moving the camera between the pixel shifting photos reminded me of the feature and to ask about the compatibility of the two features together.Russell - I'm not completely sure what you mean here with "sensor composition feature"? Is this the mode where you can adjust the sensor position in Live View mode? If you mean that one: AFAIK this is not compatible with the pixel shift mode.Does pixel shift work with the sensor composition feature?
Thanks, Jens!Fascinating and beautiful, Phil!
Already did while taking the pics ... ;-)Now get out your 3D glasses and get trippy![]()
Nobody gave me a K-3 II, that must be why! ;-)PS has been available to us in the K-3II for quite some time, but no-one ever came up with this idea.
Do so! And share the results, Wim!I'm going to try this myself with my K-3II!!!

And I often don't have the English translation ready for the terms in my German manual ...I think the official name for the feature is Sensor Composition, but it's been a while since I read the manual, and I don't remember things exactly any more.
Now that's a nice idea, Henk. One should definitely check that out too ... We'll see!in 'the same line of thinking' (out-of-the-box) i wonder what can be achieved with the astrotracer facility.... time might tell![]()
