I would keep an eye for fungus that could develop overtime, try to keep it well ventilated for some time. For the following weeks after I dropped my 7D and I saved it, I always let my camera bag opened and during the nights I just put it out of my bag with no lens on it to be sure it would get as much ventilation as possible.

Fungus is in the air everywhere, as soon as there is moisture, it's there, just keep the lens in normal dry conditions and all will be well!
