I have Metzz 44-Af-1 and I know that this Metz flash can work wirelessly with NX30 & NX1.

Well, maybe somebody find the way to do this with NX500? Recently, we've seen hack to get into

service menu to change max video duration. Can anybody check out internal wireless TTL mode in this menu? If hardware platform is alomost the same with NX1, maybe it's a little change to get it working.

The Metz cannot act as Wireless Master hence you need one SEF580 to trigger the Metz remotely...

The SEF8 cannot manage the wireless flash protocol...so youneed to get the expensive SEF580 or get youself the NX30

What's important that this feature works on NX1 & NX30, so the question is it's hardware or software limitation on NX500. Or integrated flash is necessary? Sometimes companies leave some hardware features disabled, can be the same story with this.

well, the left out hardware on NX500 is the build in flash....and the one you stick on as SEF8 has no WiFi capability

So no flash communicating with the Metz....and as the only Flash that can act as TTL W-Master is this SEF580 or the NX1/(NX30 build in one there is no easy way out.

What about the newer Metz 44 AF-2?
