s2 pro pics

Hi jlv,

Beautiful and dramatically composed photographs! Terrific color and detail too. So far, to my eyes these photos beat the socks off anything posted by users of the new Canon 10D. Thanks for sharing. Curt

Hi jlv

I expected pictures of an S2 from your title :-)

Love the details in these, left this one above in because of those great details on the girls face .. seriosuly sharp lense you have there .... what is it?

Little too large on the filesize for my 56k connection.

Thanks for posting your pics in "samples and galleries"!

Hi jlv, all shots are awesomes, fantastic color and sharp, and the models are very beautiful.
What lens are you used.
Regards from Madrid, Spain.
Ah! I own my new Fuji S2 Pro.
Thanks for sharing.

jlv,

Very nice and airy pictures. Shooting in the light of that intensity could be very challenging (at least for me). You have avoided blowouts; the images are contrastish yet detailed. Would you mind sharing the way you went to do the shoot i.e. any special setup or just crafty exposure meter reading?
Thanks
Janusz

PS One thing, the green dot in the second picture, can’t help to keep looking at it rather than on the models.

I saw these when Mr S., accidently ;-), posted them in the Canon SLR forum. These are really good and, as another poster mentioned, look better than any 10D shots I've seen, so far.

Really nice work,
Steve

I agree, you have presented wonderful examples of properly exposed photographs. I too am curious as to your composition techniques... Polarizing filter? I'm aware that more went into these than just a simple filter, hence I am hoping you will share your techniques with the rest of us!

These are Nice captures ! However I have seen them before quite awhile ago. Where else did you post them or a link to them ?

Nevermind.
It was 5 months ago I see you posted them.

Don't you have some new ones ?

Would like to see what you have been up to !

These are great shots.

In terms of quality the best digital shots I've seen have come from the S2 Pro. Of course, the photographer has an awful lot to do with the output quality, however it does show what's possible with the camera and that the 10D isn't the only show in town.
