Does anyone have older firmware file (than 3.10) for XF 18mm F2 lens?

Hi

I'm having some issues with my lens. I would like to try an older firmware to see if it's a software or mechanical problem.

I'd appreciate if any of you would upload and older firmware .dat file.

Maybe 3.0, 2.01 or 2.0 for Fujinon XF 18mm F2 lens. Any would do...

Thanks!

That is normal and typical for most mirrorless cameras. The camera is trying to adjust the light so that it can give you a good live view image and so that it can focus if light is changing the aperture will change along with it.

When you shoot it stops down to whatever aperture the exposure will be at.

I don't think the camera will allow that. What problem are you having with the lens?

Well I'm not sure it's a problem, or just the way this lens works...

But, what happens is that when in Aperture Priority the Aperture blades don't adjust when I turn the Aperture ring on the lens. They auto adjust continuously. It's only when I press the shutter button to focus that they jump to the selected aperture value. When I release the focus, the aperture changes again.

Is this normal? Can I disable this? It seems to be an unnecessary wear of the aperture blades, and also I can hear it all the time, it's a bit annoying.

In full manual mode, the aperture changes whenever I turn the ring, without having to press to focus. Like I would expect in Aperture Priority mode as well.

Thanks

Your camera is operating normally. With firmware, you can't go back. Each file is indexed and only a succeeding number will update.
