No, not airtight. Good call on the Silicas. I know I have a few lying around somewhere.You could add some silica gel packs to the case. Is it airtight?

I reckon that when you upgrade to your A7R II you'll need a larger case. Of course, that will be a minor expense, all things considered!The only lens that is a bit tight is my FF 28-70mm. All the rest fit just fine
