Nice gallery... pretty shots... pretty girl.

Hi Pedro,

I must admit you have very nice looking web AND photos ... I'm using G5 and can't get rid of the noise ... now trying in RAW files .. BIG difference - more realistic colors and images - more post work ... How do you handle noise ( your pictures are so sharp and clean ... )

Any suggestions on my pictures ( the ones in a frame are from RAW ) ...

Continue nice work ...

Hi Matjaz
first of all thank's a lot for your nice words

i'm not a web designer or a photographer so it's very important to know my "work" has some quality

i can't give you any advice, i'm still learning, but i can tell you what do i do to avoid the anoying noise

i used to have an old HP 612, what a noise machine!!
So i bouth the Canon G3 (first step to reduce noise)

1) always use ISO 50, except night shots
2) search for perfect light conditions (not always possible)

if noise persists, use some software with a noise reduction tool.

by the way, as i resize my pictures to 800x600, they loose the original sharpness, so i have to use the "sharpen" tool.

keep on the good work,
best regards

Hello,
Another quick question......
What do settings do you use for your night shots?

Thanks so much,
Kirsten

What wonderful scenery. I especially enjoyed the black and white photos. I'm constantly amazed by the variety and unique perspective that are displayed here. Your girlfriend is very photogenic - not that you aren't. You have some very good shots there.

Are you dissatisfied of your G5 because of noise Matjaz? Do you wish you had bought a G3 instead?

I'm still in the process of choosing either the G3 or the G5...

Robin

I enjoyed all the pictures of your girlfriend - I can't say which I loked the most, perhaps the one with her sitting in front of the stone wall. Also your animal shots. You seem to have a talent for capturing personality and character.

Those are wonderful pictures Pedro. I especially like the sunset pics. I can almost feel the warmth of the sun. The black and white are also very nice.

Hi Robin,

NO I'm NOT dissatisfied with G5 it is a good camera, more looking up to 10D ... If you ask me go for G5.

Try using WP PRO from FredMiranda. Does good job resample images for WEB with 3 steps sharpening !!!

You've got a beautiful country there Pedro. You captured it very well with your G3. I'm about to get a G3 seems eveyone loves it. I'm still shooting with my digital that I bought 3 years ago Kodak DC290. I need an upgrade.

Que pase buen dia..
