Most people also take pictures and portraits using mobile phone. I don't think it is nice for mobiles to be wider than 35mm. What do you think?

Agree, guess that is where Variable focal lengths come in handy. The least wide angle contender seems to be apple, which tends to put in 32mm equivalent lenses, rather than 26-28mm in current phones. LG came close to satisfying the need of having multiple focal lengths, but sadly rather than giving a second tele focal length for the 2nd camera, they opted for an even wide focal length in the LG G5.

You options now is to to either consider the Galaxy K zoom, which is rather old now, or consider the Asus Zenfone zoom.

I really don't like zoom let alone fat because of it has a zoom :(

Can you imagine how long the selfie sticks would have to be otherwise? :D

K zoom is still pretty good and fast phone. 6 cores, compared to 4 cores on CM1, and Asus Cherry Trail 4 core, and it's noticeably faster than Panasonic. K zoom has noticeably larger sensor than Asus, which sensor is minuscule 1/3.06" with 13MP. And there is also Xenon flash on K zoom, don't forget about that. Zenfone Zoom is finally available, more than a year after it's announcement for $400. IMO, K zoom is much better phone than Asus.

Does the K Zoom allow for RAW capture using FV5 or Manual camera?

Not sure, I never tried.

Personally, I do not like the way Samsung processes their JPG. Of late, it has gotten better with the S6 and S7, but excessive edge enhancement, noise reduction, and saturation, can turn an amazing capture into a low detail, textureless water color painting.

That being said, when I explored the RAW capture ability of the S6, I was impressed at what the s6 camera and sensor could achieve. I was literally getting over double the image detail when capturing RAW!

phone users typically take crowd pictures in enclosed quarters, and it is difficult to squeeze all the subjects into the frame at that distance using an equivalent focal length of 35mm. same reason why p&s cameras with 28mm lens are more expensive than those with 35mm lens
