Panasonic g7 Stills

Hello!

I am about to buy a new camera, and I mainly do photography, but for 30% I do video. Do you think the still images out of this camera look good enough compared to other cameras in this price range?

I have shot with range finders, SLRs, and DSLRs, since 1961, and before that homemade pin-hole cameras. I moved to the G7 last June and have, since then, had a ball with my G7. Yes, it takes great stills and terrific 4K and 1080p videos. Here are a couple of examples:




Canadian Geese trying to keep warm on a cold, cold evening in Birch Bay, Washington State




Skagit valley Farm house, barn, and Snow Geese, with Mt. Baker in background (this is an 8x12) taken with 100-300mm lens on my G at a distance of about 250 feet from geese. Shot was handheld.

Really, I have had a ball with my G7 and am always learning new things. Great camera for the $$.
