Hi Jellidee. Press Menu button, then on first page under Recording settings, you should see "Quality" click on that and the options are then available to your choice.

Based on FZ200 Advanced User-Manual, P137, user could find out the related settings for RAW as the below shown..

And, herewith the P.P of the RAW output by LR6 in the below :

Thank you for your advice. I tried the method you recommended and it got me nowhere! At every attempt I ended up on a screen to do with videoing, the display was in regard to PSH, FSH, SH.......all to do with video settings. I tried several different settings..I.e M,S, C1', C2 etc, all the same result.

That's weird...

Have you checked the "Note" section of the above page (User-Manual) shown ???

...

[Quality] is fixed to ... in the following case.
--[High Sens.] (Scene Mode)

To reach the camera settings screen try this:
  1. Press the menu button
  2. Press the left hand rocker button (the one to the left if the Menu button which has the rectangle on it). This should highlight yellow the lines on the left of the screen.
  3. Now move the up or down rocker button until the camera symbol is selected.
  4. Then press the right hand rocker and use the up/down button to select the Quality menu option.

So near, yet so far!

Sounds like you've been trying whilst in the [Motion Picture] menu, as those relate to movie files... whereas you get to RAW by first selecting the [Rec] menu!

First select - for instance - one of P, A, S, M on the top dial, then press [Menu/Set] and then go up and down to highlight the [Rec] option

.....................

But if you're finding that Panasonic's own guide to the camera offers little help, perhaps download a copy of Graham Houghton's alternative..

"The Panasonic Lumix FZ200 User's Manual eBook format revised 27th April 2014"

.. directly from...

.... or by using the link on this page, where lots of other stuff may also be of interest?

Good luck!
