After a foot surgery, and 3 herniated discs, I simply dropped stuff for a year, no bending. Cooper had to come clean the shop for me frequently.

A t least in the first one, there's a clear aisle of access for the firefighters to get in. Did you report it to the police, when the burglars ransacked your workshop?

The 3 comedians, funny guys,

I was ransacked once, the shop does have that appearance. Never want to experience that again, terrible sense of violation.

And this one, which could be a much nicer image if I could get the blue cast off of the pine needle silhoettes *and* deepen the unreflected sky. I have tried and tried, but so far it eludes me.

Jeff, what do you mean by the blue cast on the pine needles?

Also, beautiful pics by the way! Instead of deepening the unreflected sky, could you instead deepen the mountains to increase their contrast? Or you could just flip the image, cuz the color of that reflected sky is gorgeous!
purple fringing

Purple fringing is when you get purple color in high contrast boundary areas in an image that was most likely taken in low light situations with a brighter background. It is most often attributed to a chromatic aberration that occurs commonly with digital cameras, but purple fringing can also be caused by lens flare.

Not sure if all these count as "framed" but let's give it a go...

Everybody's pictures look wonderful, and I love the subject, too! It's a lot of fun to look for ways to use your surroundings as a surrounding! And apologies for the OOC images. I'm sure they could be touched up to be more presentable, but I haven't yet explored PP'ing just yet.
They meet the criteria... Nice shots, All. Are they entries or exhibitions. If entries and you win you must host the next challenge.

Thanks for the nice words Bill, Trafford and MoreGooderPhotos. Much appreciated :-)

Almost slid by me as I've been busy upgrading my puter and laptop to Win 10 for 3 days now!

That's a coincidence. My PC was grindingly slow so I backed evrrything up and reinstalled from scratch - finished last night after two days, with all my software installed. Can't bellieve the difference. I've been on Windows 10 since the development versions but I began with an update from Windows 8.1 and updates are never quite right, too much mess in the registry.

Hadn't thought of putting my face on the login screen. Cool!

Thank you, Bill! Oooh, hosting a challenge sounds like fun, so I guess they are entries! I always thought of these mini-challenges as just an exhibition with no determined 'winner', as I never saw any place to vote for anything or any running tallies or leaderboard.

Thanks everyone for all the fine photos and now some honorable mentions

Love what you did with those pine needles, it matches my memory of the scene perfectly. Do you have a version of the fixed pine needles, with the unfixed sky?

Here's my final edit, 50% Bill's plus 50% Jeff's (not shown, just deeper blue sky), I think it looks very good now. Thanks Bill!

Ooh yeah, this was a fun theme. I enjoyed seeing how folks "framed" their pictures, lots of things to learn by studying the images in this theme. Thanks all for submitting your images!
