The extra reach of the canon/wider angel of the Fuji is noticeable..between the 1.5 and 1.6 crop factor -

the canon is a lot warmer than the fuji..the canon is probably the closest to the original scene in that respect as it is in low warm winter sun... but then that's only a slider in any software and personal preference can have a bearing on editing but both cameras have rended the caravan white evan the OOC fuji jpegs ..they are cream but if you warm the photo up in both to get them cream than the rest is to warm...i think i am very good with LR i have used it since LR 1 or2 and the problem i have when i try new software it may be better than LR but i think with my LR experience a can tweak it to match or be close...with my efforts with unfamiliar software this is 1 reason i start this tread as i may be dismissing software that better than i am with it.......if that makes sense

PS the canon was in LR as well

On the subject of making them look the same, these where the unprocessed versions, the processed ones look nearly the same.

the canon is a bit crisper and a more noisy ..it may take a bit more NR i think i like the canon best....but with different subject it could be the other way round

The caravan is the brightest part of the image. I'm sure you're getting a color shift towards white due to channels being close to saturated. Decompress the highlights/whites a bit and it will be cream again. Don't mess with the WB to correct this or you'll get the results you mention.

i did warm the fuji up a little i not remember what i did with the canon may be cooled it a little..i did bracket the exposure for both cameras plus minus 1 stop and used the 1 stop under on both cameras as the reflective stickers on the gate was over exposed on the standard shot

i think the fuji looks crispa when you look at the compleat image..but that maybe as it a little cooler giving that impression ..maybe...if you look at what you can see of the characters on the stickers yes the fuji is i little more crisp definitely...but my main criticism with the fuji is the detail in the foliage of the conifer bush, it is less realistic and look a little painted ...i think this fuji edit is my LR one yours looks a little better in the green foliage

Here's one using ACDsee. Never gave this converter much attention because the colors are different. Handles the green tree well.

I gave up on LR if I need maximum detail from X-trans. The tendency to compensate in LR by over-sharpening only makes the image look worse as details begin to go 'wormy'.

Here is what you give up details by using LR on X-trans:

Rawtherapee (left) LR (right) on the same X-trans shot with X-T1:

Below, I used Rawtherapee to process your Fuji RAW and Canon RAW files. Therefore, only one variable, the camera. IMO, even though the Canon is 18 Mp, I would not be concerned about the minimal loss of details using X-trans 16Mp. This comparison was interesting to me because I have both the SL1 and X-T1:

First of i apologise for not replying sooner ..i must have missed the notification ...The above are they the correct way round as i like the ones on the right best which you say are LR but it maybe a little over sharpened..possibly

i think you have done a better job than i did without looking at mine..i would give it even which one i like best i like some parts better with the fuji and some bits better with the canon ..as i remember the scene i think the fuji got the color correct with the caravan but the canon better with the green conifer..but its splitting heirs but as the fuji looked pants in my LR its a massive improvement The only thing is the canon sensor is a bottom rebel sensor and the fuji is the best they do until the pro2

i have just compared your canon to my canon and it looks swings and roundabouts with i prefer so i would not swap LR for canon use......but for fuji do i swap software or camera ...the only use i have as a small cam over the 100D is for my legacy glass that won't fit the 100d ....i like using the fuji so i will probably keep it until canon has a milc with a EVF...

Thinks for your imput
