This thread is being launched before the previous one is full.

Please continue to post COMMENTS and REPLIES to any thread but when a newer one has been launched, post all new photographs to that.

It makes sense if you’ve posted a picture in an earlier thread that there's still room for you to receive a comment on it later in the week.

It also prevents tail-enders in earlier threads getting no comments at all because the thread they posted to is full.
  • Please reply to my original post when posting your own pictures.
  • That’s reply to my ORIGINAL POST when posting your own pictures.
  • Give your reply a title.
  • Keep it polite.
  • First thread kicks off Saturday morning (UK time).
  • Don’t add any photos after my ‘POST NO MORE PICS’ message (see below).
  • Newbies encouraged, any standard.
  • Avoid wasting thread space with replies such as “Thanks n/t”
  • Photographs do not have to have been taken this week.
  • Images are often more impressive when viewed large.
  • Posting here implies you’re happy to receive a critique of your work.
  • You can post links to external websites but most people in here will ignore them.
  • Apologies if I don't reply to everyone. This thread is becoming more and more popular and therefore more time-consuming. So…
  • PLEASE TRY TO COMMENT ON SOME OTHER PEOPLE’S WORK. That includes YOU newbies…it helps to take the strain off of me a little.

I see what you did and understand your reasoning. I wasn't sure if that underside of the bridge at the top right corner was a plus or a minus. I decided to leave it (instead of cloning out) as it gave some additional context that it's a bridge (although I don't know if it would be confused with something else without that bit).

I do prefer more sky to the right of the footing, so I would clone out the bridge underside instead of changing the crop.
Yes agree, that would achieve the same objective.
Thanks for the interest.
It's a great shot.

Really like your second shot. Great color!

Great shots. I especially like the composition and the moment of the second.

Cute cat - YYR loves a cat shot.

Nice series, the monastery is impressive.

Both good but the first is a stunner...love it.

I like these. The vapour trails seem part of the rock in the first. It'd be good to get a chance to take pics when the shadows are in a different position.
