Very nice, is it multiple exposures or one shot? Happy new year! It's 6 hours til new year here, and it's gonna rain/be cloudy, but I hope I can get at least one good shot tonight :)

Thanks to all for their encouragement and kind words.

I have been on the road with limited internet access so apologies for the late response to all of your comments.

I was able to get several decent images but the original one is my favorite, if you follow the fireworks above the Opera House in the background in the night sky the Crux ( Southern Cross Constellation) is visible in the night sky.

Hope all of you had a great start to the New Year

Sorry for the late reply.

All exposures made that night were single images.

Camera is an XE-1 with a 18-55 lens set on a tripod and using an old Canon remote cable to control shutter. Focus set manually.
