Still getting to know the Canon S50 I got a few weeks ago. Here is a picture of water from a pond fountain. What do you think? What do I need to do to improve on it?

Hello Paul,
good abstract idea. For me maybe a hard backlighting and a darker background would help to improve the effect.
But is just my taste

I would try to blur the background a little more by using a larger aperture to reduce DOF. It is a little too in foucs and takes away from the water drops. Nice shot! I like it!

Nice shot and a good idea. Maybe a shallower dof and maybe half stop under exposure would help.
