I love to see this function in my camera since I shoot so much indoor pictures of moving kids and so I need many shoots to get one picture. Nice to see the growing functionality of this camera.

It would have been useful if they could allow us to assign the start of a timelapse sequence to a function button, as one of the options combined with delay 2 sec/10 sec.

Surely we already have 1, 2, and 3.

Yes, yes, yes, all nice for X-T1 owners, but the X-E2 came out in relatively the same time period, and where the heck are the AF improvements to this camera? Some of us spent a lot of money on a Fuji system and lenses and keep hoping and wondering where the firmware upgrade is for this camera.

How is this different from what is there now?

IRC, my X-T1 would zoom in on focus ring movement, but I always wished that after a second of inactivity it would automatically zoom back out.

The sky is full of holes that let the rain get in, the holes are very small - that's why the rain is thin.

Neither - I've my XT1 setup to cover the first 3 for ages. Have you actually tried?
Yeah, I'm wondering about that myself. I'm struggling to understand what's actually changed here. Would be great if someone tuned into this thread and who fully understands what's changing here could explain it for the rest of us.

This may sound a little crude to you, but you are aware of the fact that there is s 400 dollar price difference between the X-T1 and the X-E2?

My guess will also be that X-T10 owners will not get many upgrades.
Just because of the same reason.

I know you and some others may not like what I say.
There is a saying in my language that says: Love goes as deep as the pocket allows.

In other words, you have had your 'free' upgrades through a discount on the body.

I've said the same myself yet I'm always surprised again when I read of the expectations of XE2 users believing they are entitled to the same functionality that XT1 users paid a lot more for.

X-Pro 1 users don't complain yet those of us who were early adopters paid far more for them than for the XE1, XE2 or XT1. Do XE1 and XM1 users expect the functionality of the XE2? I'm sure XE2 users would complain if that happened.

IF the XE2 is brought up to the standard of the XT1 I shall complain to Fuji that in future I will buy only their discounted bodies and expect them to receive updates to bring them into line with the latest and greatest.

I'd be a LOT more excited with new firmware for my X-T1 if it included:

- better exposure bracketing (i.e. 2EV spread and up to 5 exposures)

- the new firmware enabled my Niisin i40 to function for AF assist

1. Not going to happen.
The folks at Fujifilm dislike HDR. ;)

2. Not even Fujifilms own flashgun support AF assist.
So this is probably not going to happen before Fujifilm introduces some new flash system.

I read somewhere that the infrared focus assist system in the rebranded Sunpak flashes will not work on the X-T1 body as it is incompatible with the mirrorless focusing system.

According to the latest "rumor":

Fuji has no plans to release the X-T1 Firmware on December 17.

For some reason, Fuji has delayed release.
