New kit arrived yesterday, spent most of yesterday evening working my way through menus. I have to say what a great help the Supercharging your OMD book is.
The camera feels nice and I really am looking forward to getting out with it.

Enjoy your camera. I remember when I got it, back in December 2014. Now is happening again, and I'm waiting for my E-M1 to arrive, sometime next week.

I bought one of those recently and I'm really digging it. For my needs, I don't really miss having one of the more expensive OM bodies. I had a Panasonic before and got used to the more straightforward interface that those have, but over time I've figured out how to get to all of the controls that I regularly need on the Oly pretty quickly.

What's not to like with this camera? I't's cheap, it's got a decent viewfinder, lots of features and the IQ is supposed to be about as good as there is with m4/3 (barring maybe the GX8). I understand that there's slightly better for high ISO shooting but not much. I find it much better for that (cleaner images in lower light) than my older Panasonic.

I bought it a few months ago as a replacement for my E-P3 with VF-2. I think it's a great little camera. I really like it for all my use of a camera. To the zoo, on holiday's, to work and so on.
