$1000 used 5DII vs $1000 new D7200?

at the moment:
a 5D mark II goes for $1000

while a new
D7200 go for $1000

I understand that they are in different classes and probably have different purposes. I am selling some of my gear and will be buying another body, thus wondering which body would you pick and why?

another comparison I find interesting:
a used $1500 1Ds III vs a new $1500 D750

6D would be similar in price and is a much better camera.

Agreed. The 6D is the modern equivalent of the 5D II, with much better high ISO performance. It's probably superior in every aspect, aside from the 1/4000 sec. shutter and video moire.

I do really like the body of the 1Ds mark III though

All the pictures taken with all this super-duper expensive equipment will be looked at by the viewers on their smartphone displays, maybe tablets, if you are really lucky on crappy office computer terminals.

Even Nat. Geo mag publish pictures 8.5x11. If you know how to use it, any $200 compact will do just fine.
