Each shot is so unique and interesting that it's too difficult to pick a favorite. I'm sort of partial to the little guys in the second shot for the cute factor though. :)

An excellent series 3 ANAYV. The pigeons flying directly at you is a great action shot and one that is difficult for the FZ200. The crop of the animal in the last shot, shows extraordinary detail and the squirrels are as sharp as a tack.

Thanks Tim. Funny that shot was taken after a long day at a zoo. Came home , parked the car, and 2 of these guys jumped off the garbage can, and up the garage.....the waited for me, to get out camera and take their shot, lol.

I never did thank them, lol

I've always tried to catch BIF. The FZ200 faired better than any previous FZ I owned.

I imagine the FZ1000 is much better at this task, than the FZ200.

The new FZ300 should be better at this than the FZ200.

i am tempted to try one out, before a trip to Maine next month. Whale watching and a zoo is part of the tour

Hahaha...thanks for putting a smile on my face, John.

I'm not sure if my music is any good.

When I sing at the Nursing Home each month, the folk there seem to like it...but then again perhaps they turn down their hearing aids :) (and are too kind to say it's bad, lol)

Anayv,

One more favor to ask before you go. What settings do you use on your FZ200? I'm referring to sharpness, etc as well as the color balance. You may have said early on, but if so, I missed it. Thanks for all your wonderful sharing.

These,images are not SOOC, but the,final,result.

I set the FZ200 to -2 for sharpness and noise reduction, and -1 for contrast.

I also used the natural pboto style.

This allows for minimum processing from the camera, and allows for good starting point for FastStone .

There I adjust shadow/ highlight, levels, saturation and sharpness , in that order.
