Which of ultra zoom cameras?

Hello David,

I came home from my 10 day "busines" trip to Hungary and found out that olympus C750 finally reached our marked. I read one more review quickly and the next day I brought it. I have waited long enough. This is my fourth day with it and I really like it. :) Compared to little compact cams it is a little big but I wouldn't give up the zoom. :) Also, the macro shots are quiet good (maybe after some time I will buy an extra lens for that). I am still learning how to use it, playing with it all the time.

Have few more days before my next trip to Romania (the cam won't go with me) then I am planning to test my cam on real holidays. :) I hope Tunisia, with safari. I wonder if I should get another xD card... I bought a 256 xD card (luckily it cost 50$ less than two weeks ago so I didn't need to go to Austria).

Have fun
Irena

Olympus C-750 UZ + 256 Mb CF = 695 EUR
Nikon CP-4500 + TC-E2 +256 Mb CF = 836 EUR
I would say the difference is justified by superior Nikon's
construction quality (full metal body!)
The Olympus also has a metal body and its lens is faster at the tele end. Personally, I wouldn't want to lose any pictures whilst I was searching in my bag for the tele convertor - if its tele you want then it only really makes sense to get a camera with a continuous long zoom, although I agree on the point of compactness and pocketability of the CP 4500.TC-E2 combo.

In short, it says that Canon S45 takes better quality images than
Oly 750 (see Phil samples on his reviews) and it's cheaper.
p.s. and i've made comparision of photos between canon s45 and oly
750 more than from phil reviews, also real life photos of various
users from various galleries, and my own tests...
Phil hasn't reviewed the C-750.
