I have always wanted to take the SD15 UW - great battery life, fast processing, AF better than my SD9 and maybe the most accurate color of Sigma. No one was making a housing; I asked Ikelite and they said "No Thanks". On a whim, I put the 9 and 15 together to see how much commonality there was and there was a lot more than I expected (not so with the SD1). The project wasn't as complex as I expected although I started, stopped, and started over a few times. The bottom line is that I have the camera in the SD9 housing and took it into the ocean two days ago. I have a limited number of functions that I can use - power, shutter, f-stop, and mode. Unfortunately those are the only ones that could match up. But with the preview of the image after a shot, it is not a biggee. It will probably be my go-to for a while. Date was not set in the camera. Also I had it on eco mode and missed the tiger when he was coming towards me.

It's a tough job living in Hawaii but somebody's got to do it.
