Inline Photos Not Expanding?

What resolution display are you using? The screenshot below is taken at a resolution of 1280×800 which is usually the minimum resolution for desktops and laptops. Most are usually 1080p now (MacBook Air, go away...).

You can still download the full resolution image in the right sidebar (#2).

1280×800
1280×800

There is a bit less resolution in both horizontal and vertical directions, but I feel the increase in font size and legibility, addition of the filmstrip at the bottom, and EXIF on the right make up for it (when the full resolution image is still just one click away).

The filmstrip is especially useful when someone shares a lot of images. Have a try: http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/55994944

I see his point, but I personally like the new layout.

You are right, and I was kind of wrong. I did not realize that "Download JPEG" meant "View Original". It doesn't actually do a download (which indeed you can still do by right-clicking on the displayed Original).

It would have helped if the change had been explained.

Would be even better if the info panel could be hidden.

Actually it *is* downloaded so that you can view it. You cannot view it unless it downloads to your computer. The right click merely allows you to save it.

Can't please everyone, but I'm pleased with it.

I also thought this might somehow link to a upgrade with the user galleries. Not to be ungrateful, but is there anything anticipated in the way of that coming out of beta and possibly offering subscriptions? It's been a peeve of mine for years, though a very low level one (there's so many hosting sites as it is).

If there's any tweaking still due on this, could you also look into using arrow keys to move from one image to the next when multiple images are involved?
