How many have replaced their P&S with their smartphone?

my phone is only used for work, taking pictures of damaged material.

personal use is DSLR only. A friend of mine sent me 25 "pictures" from our 30th high school reunion. I say "pictures" because he used an iPotato, totally worthless photos of shadows in a dark room. totally wasted a once in a lifetime event because he used an iPotato.

Thanks!

The best camera in the world is the one you know how to use.
Let's face it: the pictures would have been worthless regardless of the camera used to take them. Nobody in the general public cares about Chris What's His Name's 30th reunion, and I doubt many in the class do either.

In fact, it's kinder on the environment when an iPotato is used in place of a camera because fewer standalone cameras will end up in landfills, a place where many, many photos--your friend's included--also belong.
