QVTimer is ready for download.

Yes! It looks great, I've downloaded it, unzipped it, got it up on the monitor, connected my QV to my parallel port.........Now what?
Is there a "help" file anywhere please Joe?

Have fun,
send me your time-lapse and I'll post them in a time-lapse site I'm
working on.

Frank,

The protocol used by this and other remote control software uses the serial port to send commands to the camera. The USB port is used for download from the camera. So you'll have to connect up the serial cable to one of your COM ports.

Check out

for other remote control software available.

Does it works with QV3000EX digital camera?
I tried it with a QV-3000EX.

In general it works. There are small differences:

"Mode" means "USB" and "USB" means "Mode".

Looks like the protocol of a QV-2000 and a QV-3000 changed the meaning of the command codes.

And - the com port settings didn't work. It worked only at Com1 - setting to Com2 didn't work.

Thanks for the debug info, Eckhard.
