Well that looks about as usable as ISO 800 with my Sony A65. Nice! Thanks for posting.

Actually the first shot is at 2400, as you have -0.7EV set.

To get the good results from bright red flowers that occupy a small part of the picture, as here, a setting of about ISO1600 or -2 or 3EV is about right. If the flower fills the frame, the metering works better.

hard to say considering in SPP exposure +0.9 shadows +2 highlights -2

plus it is unknown on what ISO's AFE settings are changed.

Tis one is 3200

According to the meta data in the RAW file this is how it changes for my dp2 Quatro.

AFE set to ISO 100 for exposing ISO 100-320
AFE set to ISO 200 for exposing ISO 400-640
AFE set to ISO 400 for exposing ISO 800-6400

This means taht e.g. setting ISO 100-640 do not affect the RAW data (if you at the same time keep the same time and f-stop).

I have not tried to change exposure compensation.

Thank you,

I stand corrected should have wrote "unknown by me" ;-)

I guess i missing something why 100-640 raw is the same if AFE set in 2 different values for 100-640 range?

Sigh .... you shal NEVER write more than necessary!

It is simply wrong.
I have not tried to change exposure compensation.
