FZ300 video length, anybody understand the description?

I read the description it looks like the camera can record more than 30 minutes without loss but splits the video into 30 minute lengths.

 
From what I read, there's a 29:59 limit for video. The only reference I see to writing separate files while continuously recording pertains to 4GB file size limits, not 30 minute chunking.
 
I saw these caveats:

Max.29 min 59 sec.
5-Axixs compensation does not work with 4K video recording.
Works for photo shooting only.
Based on the CIPA standard, when using Live View Finder.

Looks like the 30 minute limit is in place on this one also.

Note that the 5-axis OIS is for video only, but wont work at 4K video rates.

It also looks like that really nice OLED viewfinder is a current hog. My Sony has the same thing. The rear LCD display eats much less juice than the EVF. All those thousands of tiny LED's need current to light up.

What is your source for "5-axis OIS is for video only"?

I'm not seeing anything in the blurb on Panasonic's site, to suggest it doesn't also work for stills?
