Amazon Prime Day - Expectations??

If it's like their Black Friday deals.. and I expect it will be, then there will be some nice discounts on older, overstock and clearance merchandise. Don't expect big discounts on premium lenses, but I'll bet you see a Rokinon lens marked $50 off... discounts on memory cards.. Maybe deals on older camera models like the J4 or D3200.. camera bags, some tripods.

Even cheaper prices on really old stock they cannot even sell on Woot...

With all the money their spending on publicity I'd say it's more of a campaign to draw in new Prime members first, with a possibility of sweet deals to come. Brilliant.

Lame Wednesday on Amazon!
It's a big day if you need a two year old USB charger. Otherwise I see virtually nothing worth buying on the so called "prime day."
The good news is that I ordered a lawn mower and some other stuff off Amazon last week. None of it is any cheaper today!

Nothing on sale for my cameras or my new 500 HP ride either (that blue looks sharp)!
Ah well. I wrote a note to Amazon about the lame promotion because I'm sure they'll listen.
