Pardon the question as I'm sure it's been asked before, but I've tried serveral searchs and didn't get a definite answer.

Has anyone used kodak premium plus paper with the i950? I can get a 150 4x6 sheets for $19.99 from Costco. I've only used Canon Pro so far and I'd like something cheaper, but I won't sacifice quality. Thanks for any answers.

Kenny,

I work as a Canon rep that deals with the sales of our printers. I can tell you first hand that most of the Kodak paper is totally incompatible with our ink forumula. However, I have talked to end users that have told me they were using Kodak (I do not remember the exact type) paper. As best I can surmise, the absolute top end "Ultimate" paper should work ok, but I know most of the Kodak paper will not work. You will find that the ink simply doesn't soak into the glossy coat.

I see your schwartz is as big as mine.

I personally recommend staying away from Kodak paper entirely when
it comes to the i950. Here is a link to a post of my personal
experience:

You should be able to find a great deal of info when doing a forum
search. Just remember to click the button that says "In text"
instead of the default "In subject" (made that mistake myself)

Thank you for the replys. I figured as much. Just another question. What is OD paper? I guess I've been on the Sony forum so long, I forgot to look at the others!
