Tell me what you want, what you really really want!

stop worrying about upgrading my trusty old X100.
If Fuji is reading this, then I doubt they want you to stop upgrading.

Also, why worry if your camera is still working? Just keep shooting.

What I really want is a true panoramic medium format digital camera, like the Fuji GF670. I would be happy with a fixed lens. Sadly, this is very unlikely to ever happen in the digital age.

16-70/80/85mm f4 OIS WR YES!!! Ultimate travel lens.
Yea I would love this. Would completely kill 18-135mm lens sales though.

18 lenses now listed with more on the roadmap - but what do you really really want and why?

For me its a XF pancake 23mm f2 with aperture ring for my X-E2 so I could slip it in my jacket pocket and stop worrying about upgrading my trusty old X100.

Hope you read this Fuji!
All right! We got some spice girls fans around here! hahahahaahha!!! :-)

Nothing, I am content. OK, maybe a 10mm 2.8 WR to replace my 12mm.

  1. Fuji X Vario: Basically an X-E with a fixed 16-50 f/2.8-4 and a leaf shutter
  2. HSS and Wireless TTL flash for all current Fuji cameras
I already have a name for this: X100Z (zoom)

Put me down for:
  1. constant f/4 zooms, especially a 16 - 70/4.0 with OIS. constant f/2.8 are a little too heavy and big
  2. tilt-shift lens
  3. Promised telephoto lens with OIS for sports and nature shooting
I already have an excellent 23/2 in my X100s. Given how far the X100s' lens extends into the body with a rear element larger than the front element, I wonder how easy it would be to make a XF 23/2 pancake.

Still don't understand the folks that seem to hate what Fuji makes and want something else entirely with the Fuji name on it. Full frame. Medium format. Whatever.

Your camera is being made: Leica Q and it is probably as cheap as Fuji could make one and not much more than the Sony with the optional viewfinder.
You don't need to understand it. It's what I want, not what you want. And for the record, I don't hate what Fuji makes, so don't put words in my mouth. If you look at my signature, you will see I own quite a bit of Fuji gear and shoot Fuji exclusively. You can get off your soapbox now.

I don't want a Leica, otherwise I would have bought the Q. I don't want a 28mm focal length and I want Fuji colors and glass, not Leica. I'm not looking to save money.

When I had my X100, I REALLY wanted a 56mm F2.0 version to go with it. Same camera, longer focal length. Now THAT would be an awesome combo!

Oh, that and an excellent TTL flash system.

1. Flash system - with HSS, wireless etc

2. 16-70 f4.0 OIS - would make me happy

3. More MPix (20-24)

4. Less aggressive contrast curve - no more "crunched" blacks in SOOC JPGs + back to X-E1 SOOC colours.

Or a 27mm f2 - but please don't tell my current 27. <grrrr>
Hope you read this Fuji!

Weather resistant, silent autofocusing 23 and 35mm f 1.4s, 56 f1.2 with the 90mmF2's quad linear motor.

All with the clutch manual focusing ring and nano GI coating, and a non-ridiculous lens hood for the 23. (metal lens hoods for all!)

Updated 10-24mm f4 with weather sealing and 50-140's OIS.

Yes I know other lenses and configurations would be more of a priority since the current offerings are fantastic, but hey, the OP asked!

I've said it before and I'l say it again: I'd like an XC wide-angle zoom to complement my 16-50 and 50-230. Can be 8-16 or 10-20 for example, with an aperture range of 3.5 - 5.6. Plastic fantastic, lightweight, sharp, good IQ and not expensive.

An update of the 60mm 2.4 Macro would be nice too. But make it just a tad longer at 70mm, 2.4 or even 2.8, and faster AF than the current 60. Keep the macro-ability, size and price. That would be my perfect portrait/close-up/short tele lens.

Now there's a question for another day! Apparently David Beckham (husband of Posh) has been seen using a Fuji x100!
