Not sure which way to go but with a D610 - you get a warranty, faster fps, better high iso, larger pixels, lighter, slightly smaller, more manageable files.
Did I mention - warranty.

not "felt like a toy" more like "didn't feel pro"... handling a D600 and then D800 is a real eye opener

Since using (x) Never looked back.. (meaning.. we're all idiots using what he/she 'used' to use)
post you own... it makes me smile.
the reality is that most of the exaggerations describe incremental (though real) improvements.. it is also obvious that some buyers of the top end equipment do cannot 'see' these improvements in their photography.. just having 'the best' is, reassuring enough, for them.
