why no VC?

I believe this is the real reason and the other stuff is just a lame excuse.

Just curious, does the A7ii also provide stabilization during focusing like the A77ii?
 
I fully agree with you. Either they let VC or it should cost less.

VC is a very interesting feature even with IBIS because IBIS is not working during focusing operation, so with IBIS, manual focus is sometime dificult without a monopod.
With the A77ii IBIS works with half pressing the shutter so it is visible in the viewfinder and during focusing.
 
That just may happen if the A mount Sigma 150-600 is stabilized. Unfortunately, just not buying something doesn't send the message as clearly as writing a complaint.

The earlier announcements of the 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens from Sigma would be produced in the A mount, but not the Sports model. From these responses am I to understand this has changed? I guess I missed that somewhere.
