Heyyo! So, this is another photo thread wherein each of the participants must show case the latest photo they have taken and also disclose how many photos they took with their current (Sony FF or APS-C) camera! It appears that we cannot figure out the exact number of shutter actuations, but no matter! At least look at the photo number and identify how many pictures you took! Please insert the EXIF data with valid timestamp so we can be confident that this is a picture you took today or a few days back.

Share the photo and the picture number. I am not sure what happens if the number overflows and resets to 1. I haven't reached there yet! :D

So if your latest photo is not share-worthy, then get off your lazy bum, and go out and take some pictures! :P

It's best to reply to the first post of this thread, to keep different photo topics separate and it makes it easier to find out what photo each is commenting on!

I'll go first! Picture DSC06596.arw

A friend's friend, sitting on a mattress on the floor, like one of those old Roman nobility. He is NOT high in this picture! :D

I had trouble focusing on the eyes in such dim light indoors, with the cloudy sun behind. So I decided to stop down on my Canon FD 50mm F 1.4, and took this around F2.8 I think.

Thanks! They most definitely were real ;) . TulipFest in Albany NY has a great annual display, so I always get out there and see what I can come up with each year. These were lit just right by the sun. I like how this one came out also.

Filming some clips for a music video last night, I took a few stills when setting up shots. This is the very last image on my card to date.

My shutter count says 33,214. This is a NEW shutter, as it broke & was replaced last month. So I guess I got around 31k from the original.

Minolta MD 50 f1.4. I may have had a close up filter attached at this point, seems closer than normal ~ what do you think? i really can't remember...

Very well focused! Manual lenses are not so easy to deal with, especially at such high aperture. I like this quite a bit, and nice black background to just isolate the person!

Holy cow! How did you take that many photos in such a short time? Also nice kitty! I like those furry creatures! Although the face seems to not be in 100% focus.

I like shooting action and use manual focus lenses almost exclusively. I walk my cat daily and take my camera with me I post pictures of him on Instagram https://instagram.com/professor_pouncey/
Ha! Professor Pouncey! Cool name for your cat (assuming that is your cat's name!)

This bengal cat is a miniature bengal tiger. Too bad those are so endangered! :(

It's just Pouncey the Professor part is I try to be educational and informative on different animals we see mostly reptiles, amphibians and insect macros. I'm definitely nuts about getting perfect focus, composition and lightning but in reality I've found it's more about capturing a moment than getting the perfect picture I'm more of an entertainer.
Absolutely! A good out of focus image is better than a crappy perfectly focused shot.

You have some awesome shots there. Much more interesting than regular cat pics. I am not much of a cat person, but your collection makes me feel different - keep up the excellent work!

I can understand how your shutter count is high as I also like to catch action with my dogs using MF lens.
