Is there a way to set the back wheel to just be a regular focus pont selector like the Nikons and Canons? My Fuji X100T has that option. It would be less frustrating when shooting with 3 different bodies. By the time I am shooting with the Sony, I almost always hit the iso, or the drive or the display. -_-

You bet.

The easiest way to adjust flexible spot focus point is to assign it to the Center Button

Menu > Custom Settings > Custom Key Settings 6 > Center Button > Standard

Then simply press Center Button to make the focus point active and use Control Wheel to move it around the frame.

Then which button will be the OK button after I assign it to control the focus selector?

So I guess theres no other option for direct focus selector on the pad. Anyway I have set the OK button to select the points and I think it's better than nothing. Thanks guys.

I was looking if there was a way to move the focus point without pressing before the center button (as I do on my Nikon and on my OMDs) but there isn't so I still make the wrong thing a lot of times!

It would be nice if the camera memorize tow different focus points, one for horizontal and one for vertical as my nikon do!

There is no such thing as an "OK button" but if you mean will the Center Button still lock in a selection - absolutely.

It's truly not that difficult to press a button and move the wheel.

Thanks for the reply guys. I only brought this up because I'm shooting with 3 cameras. Nikon Df, Fuji X100T and the Sony A7ii. Everytime I'm on the Sony, I always accidentally presses directly the D pad/scroll wheel to select points and almost always I missed a shot already. Lots of it. LOL! I hope in the future firmware we will have the option to do that. Directly set the that wheel as the focus point selector. Thanks
