Surely it is Pat - and may I say a more fulsome response I could't wish for - I mean, a postcode? Take the next three turns ;-)

Thank you, Brett! Fulsome becomes simple when one can ‘cut and paste’ from websites. I’ll settle for one turn :-D New pic will follow shortly.Surely it is Pat - and may I say a more fulsome response I couldn't wish for - I mean, a postcode? Take the next three turns ;-)
OK, I'll put one up now and hope for the best tomorrow.Hi Max1
That was a super find - it think it's the only record of the statue on the internet!
I've just logged in - have I got you in time? Do you want to take your turn??
Pat.
Fine looking sculpture, doesn't have a WW1 type haircut though. This is 'The last ANZAC' (also called ‘The Untidy Soldier’) by Francis Ennis 'Guy' Lynch.
I think there are two castings of this statue. One is at the Wairarapa Soldiers' Memorial, (aka The Cenotaph), Queen Elizabeth Park, Dixon Street, Masterton NZ, and your photo is of the second casting at the Devonport First World War Memorial, now called the Devonport Combined War Memorial, off Flagstaff Terrace, Devonport, Auckland NZ. ?????
Correct to the last detail Pat, it's good that we kept it rolling. This is 'The last ANZAC' (also called ‘The Untidy Soldier’) by Francis Ennis 'Guy' Lynch.
