--The intent here is that they need to technically have each of these
listed because if they do resizing that is modification technically
and if they copy then it's reproduction...you get the idea.
However, they should make 7a more specific as to their intent and
limit the scope of the purpose of those rights you grant them for
displaying the photographs through their website. I'm not a lawyer
so I don't know whether or not that license would give them the
right to sell these derivative works.
I've dealt with similar licensing issues in software since I
license my work as well but don't have the proper language handy.

you give them the right to your photos when you post photos at that
web site??? perpetual??? yike!
--yes that's what I thought too.The advice from Ted B. to not sell the photo but to licsence it is
right on target. Always try to retain ownership of your images,
because you never know. As far as pricing goes, that's always very
tricky. There are places that deal with images for a
business...newspapers, magazines, photo agencies etc...that have
established clientelle and fixed industry rates. And then you have
places who see your work and want it, but it's not their business
so they have no idea of the value, and they probably haven't even
budgeted for it yet. Those are the tough ones. That's where the
saying goes something is only worth what someone is willing to pay
for it.
Thanks for the link, I will check that out.http://www.dphoto.us will very soon have an area for just this purpose. An
area where photographers can showcase their work and have it
available to the creative directors etc...a new gallery is being
created and will be up and running very soon.
