dsc-p1 for $716.99 + $5.00 shipping @ solutions4sure.com

Onvia is selling the DSC-P1 for $726.78 (free shipping). Now if you access Onvia via this link: http://www.onvia.com/seattlechamber/ and use code 02024630, Onvia will discount the price another $50, bringing your total cost to $676.78. Not bad huh?

Now the $50 discount is meant for Seattle chamber of commerce members but will work for anyone. Also this promotion is for NEW customers so, if you've bought from Onvia before, you'll need to create a NEW sign-in using a different e-mail address than what you registered with previously.

Hi Buggles,

I also found out that Onvia has the lowest price among those companies that http://www.pricegrabber.com has listed. I wanna place my order for DSC-P1, but not sure whether they are reliable or not?! Do you know when is the ealiest time that i can get the P1 (i'm living in Canada)?? I'm really appreciate your help! Thanx...

I just tried to buy from onvia but it looks like they "fixed" the coupon. Anyone seen that? Or is there some trick to making it work? Let us know if you've seen any more good deals out there! Thanks in advance.

Well I used the "coupon" to get a couple smartmedia 64mb cards with no problems, but I made sure to use a different e-mail address than I'd used for past purchases. Have you bought from onvia before? If so, maybe that will work. I made the purchase the same day as my original posting so I don't know if that'll still work... perhaps the coupon has been "fixed" but hopefully not. :) By the way I found the deal at http://www.techbargains.com , a great place to find coupons. There's also some other good sites for coupons and deals worth checking. My favorites, besides techbargains, are:

http://www.dealcatcher.com

I just tried to buy the P1 from Oniva, but the the coupon is "expired" when you try to apply it to your shopping cart. So the coupon doesn't work even though an ad at the top of their site says... "For those of you who haven't had a chance to use the $50 coupon offer, it has been extended for you! Receive $50 off a $200 purchase. Use your coupon number or call Customer Service at 1(800)299-1410. Offer expires October 31st, 2000. " Oh well, I was too late. No one has it in stock as of tonight anyway.

I've purchased a number of items from Onvia with NO PROBLEMS. The only negative I know of is that I do seem to recall hearing of some people that preordered items with Onvia, only to receive their shipment later than people who ordered later (after the item was in stock). Based solely on my experiences, however, I recommend Onvia and I probably will be ordering the P1 from them myself.

They also have generally positive ratings at Resellerratings.com http://www.resellerratings.com/vendone.cgi?Onvia

By the way, I have a page at my web site with links to some of my favorite web shopping resources: http://www.derek.to/pricecompare.htm

I read (deja.com forums) that Onvia Canada has coupons - they said this one works for $50 of $200 (Canadian, I presume):

I just tried to use the new coupon you posted, but it doesn't work either. Thanks for the info though.
