Which one is better ? Thinking of buying the K S2 and already have the 18-55 so not sure about getting it with the kit 18-50 or not and save $100. I know the 18-50 is smaller but that does not matter.

Pentax 18-55WR vs 18-50WR ?

I have the 18-55WR and feel that it is a much underappreciated lens for a "Kit" lens. I am quite happy with it. The price is right too. 
If it were me, I would condirer the 18-50 for the DC silent auto focus, but I would not buy it at the price it is stand alone, as a kit, I would.
Overall, from the limited pics I have seen, the 18-50 looks on par with the 18-55. Comlapsablilty is not an issue to me since I expect a certain amount of size for a zoom lens.
