Before I read your post I saw the photo and that's exactly what I was thinking. It looks overcast but a ray of sunlight shot down to illuminate the birds. Nice shot!

Great shot and proves once again that light makes (or breaks) a good image. That shot deserves a 8x10 or larger print.
 
Nice shot. I do like how the light hits the birds, and how they're banking in unison, giving some extra energy to the scene.

Absolutely a work of art. It does actually look like a fine art print with just the right light and composition. It helped to have those well trained birds.
 
Thanks Evan. The swans are very late here this year due to our extreme winter. Usually they have left by now and they're really only showing up in any numbers the last few days. Good to hear from you.
