How are these shots processed?

Hi there,

Do any of you recognise the signature processing in these shots - ie is there a particular vsco preset used or something else? I really like the processing as it has strong colours and the skin tones haven't gone all muddy like a lot of the common presets.

Thanks!

Boosted saturation and contrast, perhaps a lifting of the black point a bit.

I'm afraid I can't tell you what was used in your inquiry (and you're right they look great, I too would be curious to know) but I have been pleased with the RNI preset I have been using.

I'll also add the wedding photographer's skills are impecable and you need to start from there otherwise no amount of post processing will help (apologies if I'm telling you something you already know)

Thanks for the replies and you are totally right Rich that you have to get the shot well exposed in good light first.

The RNI presets look very good, I'll check them out thanks.

he says it's all perfect available light exposure,
But available light is never that balanced my guess is that he has an assistant (with a very large diffuser :-) ) that is also highly skilled at diffusion and bouncing of light who needs little to no instruction while he is shooting.
with very little post processing in Nikon Capture NX2.
I wonder what his definition of very little is :-O

I assume the full frame pro grade cameras have a greater dynamic range making it easier to achieve such balance also....

Maybe one day when I grow up I can be that good too!! :-) ;-)
