:)

Pretty. The background not out of focus enough to emphasize the stunning looking face.
Thank you from the depth of my heart dear! <3

Well, if everyone else is having go, I might as well too...

I like your original photo.

Monitors can all look a little different so I have made it a tad warmer for mine.

Hope you dont mind.

With such a pretty face the background isn't really too important because everyone looks at your face. In an ideal situation the background should be more out of focus or relatively bland or both.

In your case I would say lighten face a little and brighten the eyes slightly.

cheers

Bill

Needs better exposure and color balance.

Person posts mediocre photo on forum... crickets.

Good looking lady posts a mediocre selfie... creepers come out to "help".

no bitterness here...

The lighting needs work. Exposure is definitely a matter of taste. I find I generally like my exposure a bit lower than most here at preview. You can get away with your current exposure but the lighting on your face needs to be more even. The pools of shadow around your eyes is a problem.

I think the best thing you can do is get a cheap print of this photo made. Make sure you tell them not to adjust the photo in anyway (many places will attempt to improve your file) and you will be surprised at just how dark this photo is.

Also I find the background is distracting because the line between the sky and rest of the background cuts through your head.

Some people have definitely posted big improvements (done through PP) here so I wont bother redoing their work.

Mine ended up a lot like Bmori's. Slight background blur, slight vignette, slight saturation boost, slight brightening of face and eye area... Very nice picture. Thanks for the practice.
