Great capture Syd. I really like this view and will have to put it on my bucket list. There is a bit of a bow in the horizon that I would fix, and the only other suggestion would be to move the camera a bit to the left next time to get more of the ocean and less of the stuff on the right.one of my favorite places in northern califonia to photograph! golden hours ;-)
That's Point Arena, not Point Reyes.
I have a Guidebook on Photographing Northern California, so yes, I'm 100% certain.
Nice photo, though. Did you take the tour to the top of the Lighthouse?
i than you for kind words, Ronald. the reason why the colors look so saturated is because of the late afternoon light. one has to be there to see it for oneself to see what i am trying to say ;-) the wave pattern was very exciting that day.Whichever one it is... it is a nice photo.... like the balance between the land and the sea..... composition well established.... I like the color balance as well.... lightening it might flatten it out a bit???

Yes, the blue tide pool area looks especially unrealistic.Very nice light, but maybe a little over saturated?
