Nicely done, Andre, and a beautiful spot. I have used the technique before but after checking a single shot covering the same basic subject and finding fore and background in focus, I felt I could get it all in focus without changing focus (which, I'm sure, was nominally at hyperfocal).I see, yes. Here's a similar vertical pano that I did several years ago. I remember I adjusted focus from infinity to mid distance and once again for the foreground. D300 and Tokina 12-24mm.
