I tested on the canon 35-105mm f3.5 (constant aperature). I've been very impressed. If shutter speed was improved from 1/6 to 1/10, does that equate to 2/3 stop faster? I believe the plant has more blur due to the lens turbo reducing depth of field?

The focus is on the coconut jar. Program Mode.

Without lens turbo - Wide open f3.5 @ approximately 76mm (equals to 105mm)

Shutter = 1/6

With lens turbo - Wide open f3.5 @105mm (to match same view without lens turbo)

Shutter = 1/10

Quality is great... I can't tell the difference.

Yup shocking good with this lens, but this lens is one of the best canon non-L zoom lens. I'll test with my 135mm, 50mm, and 28mm.

For the 50mm I do notice slightly softer with the lens turbo at f1.4. Focusing at the bar code.
