I'm sure it is a setting that I need to change: When looking through the OVF, I notice that the live-view screen also has the data displayed about what I am going to shoot. The light from the screen bothers me while composing.

How can I shut this "feature" off?

Thanks in advance.

menu/setup menu, turn auto info display "off"

It bugged me too for a bit when I first got my DF.

Happy shooting.......

I certainly may be wrong since I've never touched a Df, but can't you just press the LV button again to turn live view off?

In every Nikon DSLR I've owned the LV button toggles ... press once for ON, press again for OFF.

Now I'm curious; is this how it works on the Df?

one thing i didnt like about the d750 when adjust ISO the LCD would turn on...Im not sure if they have fixed that yet.

Easy ISO solves that problem.
